Thiabendazole:

Indications:

 

OTOMITE is indicated for the treatment of otitis in small companion animals (dogs, cats, rabbits), including:

  • Otitis of varied etiologies

  • Otitis caused by ectoparasites

  • Otitis complicated by bacterial or fungal infections


Route of Administration & Dosage:

 

Otic (ear) administration only.
Before application, clean the external ears and ear canal to remove wax, exudate, and debris.

Instill twice daily in each ear for 5–10 consecutive days, depending on clinical severity.

Contraindications:

  • Do not use in:

    • Sick or emaciated animals

    • Lactating animals

    • Puppies, kittens, or rabbits under 10 weeks of age

    • Animals sensitive to any ingredient in the product

  • Do not use Ivermectin in sensitive dog breeds (e.g., Collies, Shelties, Bobtails)


Precautions:

  • Prevent the animal from licking the treated area for at least 10 minutes

  • Avoid contact with mucous membranes

  • Wash hands thoroughly with warm, soapy water after application


Shelf Life:

  • 36 months from the date of manufacture
